Fredon Township Real Estate
 Fredon Township is located in the southwestern portion of Sussex County in the midst of beautiful farmlands and horse country.
 Zoning here is six acres for new construction and the town board is adamant that the township retain its rural nature.
Fredon Elementary School with its Blue Ribbon status is the only elementary school in Sussex County so designated. Parents of its 350 students consider themselves extremely fortunate to send their children to this school. The high school, Kittatinny H.S., has also won this award.
Many doctors and nurses live in Fredon and work at nearby Newton Medical Center. The hospital is currently in expansion mode. I am always impressed when I visit at how lucky we are to have a medical facility with such wonderful personnel and friendly volunteers. It's well known for its maternity department. Each time a baby is born, the whole hospital is serenaded over the intercom with Brahm's Lullaby. Shopping is in closeby Newton and Hampton Township.
 A special place is the Tea Hive which is open for lunch and tea Wednesdays through Sundays. Reservations here are a must. Housed in a colonial from the 1800's, you are served in one of several rooms, each with its own theme.
 Fredon Park offers a lovely walking trail, a playground, playing fields, and more!
